Best would be to cyropak.
Vac sealed prevents freezer burn and can use each layer as need since in a separate pak
No use by date.

It’s just ok. Definitely not the best hot sausage I’ve had. I’m not a fan of the casing either. You will need to thaw it and cut up and refreeze it unless you’re eating 5lbs at once. At these prices and the fact it’s a mediocre product I will not be reordering.

Its good, not the best Ive had. Apparently its made in New York, shipped to the Chicago area and then shipped to you. Thats what I was told in an e-mail. It did come well packed and with dry ice. The sausage was still frozen solid when I recieved it. I use this in pasta sauce, sausage sandwhiches and a pizza topping. It was on sale at a great price but not sure if I'll get it again.

After all I went through to get this resolved, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Upon opening the Italian sausage and finding lots of frost and parts of the sausage brown, it doesn’t give me much assurance that the sausage you sent me is even fresh.
It also makes me suspicious of all the accolades you seem to get.

I ordered the Hot and Sweet Italian sampler pack. What I received was a box of Sweet Italian’s and a box of Chorizio. I dislike very much Chorizio. Contacted Esposito’s and was advised they were having availability issues on the sampler and substituted Chorizio and Sweet Italian. They said I should have been advised of the substitution and they would be more transparent in the future. I asked for a credit or a better substitution to make the order correct but have not heard nothing back as of today. I would not recommend Esposito’s at all. Product may be great but customer satisfaction is not very well recived

I was so hoping that this order would be flawless but unfortunately it took 14 days and several emails back and forth for it to arrive, the shipping promise of 3-5 days is a myth. Once it did arrive there were two ropes of frozen sausage, I had been expecting the Sweet Italian Sausage to be in Link form but it was not. All I could do was to cut the semi-frozen ropes in to chunks and get them in to the freezer before they were defrosted. There are only two of us in my household so cooking a whole rope at a time is not feasible. The taste and flavor of the sausage is great, the delivery expectations not so much.

Frankly disappointed in appearance of delivery and the quality of BOTH the Hot and Sweet Sausage. The box was crushed and the sausages were frozen in a big glob which did not allow for easy separation (in link portions) or convenient refrigerator/freezer storage. The product taste "old"; it was dry and lacked expected flavor for both varieties. Rather than throw away (I won't eat the product and save myself unsatisfying calories), I'll give orders to a couple of my neighbors, since I'm not near a convenient food bank and the weather is terrible in the NW. Looked great on ads and perhaps others enjoyed the sausage, but this was not my experience

Well we tried the Hot so far and it is good. Not as hot as expected but good flavor. I only wish the sausages were packaged in smaller quantities due to the fact most are not going to eat 5 pounds at one sitting. You have to partially thaw to pull off what you want to cook. Can’t wait to try the sweet!
