The Provolone and Parsley Italian Sausage meat is off the chain! Super delicious and different than a traditional fennel sweet sausage. The Provolone is a fantastic flavor pop! I patty it to make sausage burgers to grill with red sweet pepper planks on hard rolls - makes a great beef burger alternative. I also use the sausage to make Pasta e Fagioli or Pasta Fazool - white beans, sausage, onion, carrot, celery, chicken stock, lots of grated parm and ditilini pasta. There is nothing better than Esposito's Sausage. My Dad was born on the same street in the 1930's.

Living in Las Vegas we have searched over 30 years for Italian sausage stuffed with provolone like we use to Order in Boston. I saw an ad for Esposito's and thought I’d give it a shot! It did not disappoint. Talk about flashbacks! We were a bit taken back by how skinny the sausage were because we are use to traditional fat ones but size definitely does not matter! lol….. Great job! Sausage is GREAT; no complaints about taste or quality. The ONLY issue is I wish they were individually wrapped in the box so when I receive them I can freeze them and take them out individually as I need them as I often do not cook all three at once.

Your sausage was very good and tasty. However, when it arrived it was totally stuck together, like it was defrosted and refrozen. We had to defrost it to re freeze it ourselves. Some of the links were damaged, and I did make a small complaint about it, but it was not resolved to my satisfaction. We're not sure if we will reorder.

This is the first time we’ve tried this sausage and it had a great flavor. Seems like it was ground finer than most store bought sausages so the feel in the mouth was much smoother. Will definitely buy this sausage again.

The rings were all frozen together, even though there was parchment paper between the rings. Use thicker paper or wait until each ring is partially frozen first before packing.
There are no recipes for the rings on the site, only breakfast recipes, and no instructions on different methods to cook it.

I moved from Long Island to Florida in 1989. Over the years I tried a lot of locally made sausage and other national brands. I could never find a decent Italian sausage that replicated the ones I grew up with. After watching several Instagram posts about Esposito’s and reading various reviews, I decide that I would order the Provolone and Parsley rope sausage. I received it four days after I ordered it. It was still frozen and package very well. I can honestly say that this sausage was the best that I have had in 36 years. Excellent flavor and texture. The flavor was consistent throughout with nice sized pieces of provolone and parsley. Unfortunately, the five pounds of sausage was enjoyed by me and my family and only lasted for two meals. I cannot emphasize enough how good the sausage was. I’m am getting ready to order the sweet and hot Italian sausage and I cannot wait for it to arrive. I will be a customer from this point forward.

I grew up 3 blocks away from Esposito's in the 50s, 60s & 70s and theirs was the only sausage that ever passed my lips until I left NY in the late 80s. I'm in Phoenix now and you can't find rope style sausage anywhere and supermarket options, even the "Premium" brands, are mediocre at best. Having these on my plate last week almost brought me to tears it was sooooo special. And how can you beat free shipping these days? Guess what I'm eating for the Super Bowl.

We love the parsley and cheese ring sausage and I often give it as a gift. One suggestion: Those who received as a gift have commented that it is hard to separate the rings upon receipt without defrosting, since they are likely to use only one ring at a time. Wonder if you could include an extra sheet of wax paper between rings.

Love your sausages! My only complaint…the three wheels come frozen. They can only be separated by defrosting all three. Then they need to be frozen again, separately. They used to come unfrozen in dry ice. Espositos: go back to mailing them unfrozen, please!

Sausage was great. Only issue was with defrosting 5 lbs. at one time. I ordered the sweet sausage with provolone and parsley pinwheel. It was three wheels that were impossible to separate, so I had to defrost them all at once regardless if I wanted to use them all at the same time or not. Individual packaging would be helpful.

I thought I'd surprise my wife with parsley and provolone sausage from a New York Deli. I was stunned to see 5lbs coiled in one package in a Barese style. It should be regular size , like all the rest of the sausage, especially for the money. It should have been broken up into 5-1 lb. Packages , easier to freeze and defrost. It tasted ok, but next time I'll go back to my deli in Chicago.
