The breakfast sausage came melted. The box was wet as you can see in the picture. The sweet sausage was so frozen and covered with ice crystals and freezer burn that I will not eat them very disappointed.

Have only tried the breakfast sausage, I was anxious for the taste of my youth. I didn't get it. I found something, maybe the casing, sour. They came frozen as a rock or I would say they spoiled but I can not eat them.

It is very difficult to go quality breakfast sausage. Yours has a nice mild seasoning and was not overly greasy while cooking. Have yet to encounter large grisly chunks or bone .

I had concerns about the product maintaining temperature in transit. They were unfounded as this meat arrived solid as a mammoth in a 100,000 year-old glacier. The product was not Cryovac sealed or sealed in anyway. It was unwrapped in a thin cardboard box.. Very unprofessional. It had freezer burn and picked up odors from the packaging and freezing material. The whole house took on a foul smell when it was cooked up. At the very least the breakfast sausage should be Cryovac. It was like somebody was doing this out of the basement or garage. The same was true for the other product that I ordered. Cryovac will greatly increase the longevity of the product as well as protect the quality. I thought that would be standard practice for the trade.

Quick delivery but I personally was not a fan of the taste. I bought them a while back and they tasted more like the breakfast sausage you get from Jersey Diners. These are not the same at all. Too expensive also, per pound they are like a ribeye.

Best breakfast sausage, like think of old school diners. We always get the 2oz version. We cook in convection oven 350, turning once. So good!
The only thing is the packaging, it comes in a 5lb box, so first you have to separate the links because they are tied together, and then we usually make 3 or 4 freezer bags to store them. Would be nice if vacuum packed in 1 or 1.5 lb packages

Was not sure as to whether to cook from frozen, so I thawed those I was going to cook. The packageing was a little difficult to take the sausages out in a frozen state. You might want to look into making it easier to get a few out at a time. Other than that I was very satisfied with the product and the packageing it was shipped in.

The”2oz” breakfast sausage are tasty and juicy! The problem I have with them is they weigh closer to 4oz than 2 oz. Advertising them as 2 is misleading and wrong!! If you are to lazy to make 2oz sausage then advertise the correct weight!!! What do your 1oz sausage weigh?? 3oz??The advertised weight would be much more enjoyable, not eating a grinder , just breakfast!!!

Reminiscent of the Long Island diner links which we have missed as we now live in Florida. Excellent taste, fast delivery. Nicely separated by butcher paper in batches of 5 which were easily separated and vacuum sealed.

The packaging needs to be improved. Very hard to remove a couple of frozen sausages to keep the reset frozen. Thicker paper that is wider and longer might help. Otherwise yummy - just hard to handle.

Unless your cooking up the entire 5lbs at once, they are a frozen block. Recommend putting freezer paper every 5 links.
