Used half of the hot Italian sausage rope for a lasagna. It turned out incredible. The other half I put on the grill over lump charcoal and apple wood. Absolutely the best sausage I have ever had!!

Great flavor, quality product. We had them on the grill today for Father's Day. I was going to send a video, but they smelled so dang good, we all ate them too fast. The sausages were good. The packing was not so great. The cellophane was loose and not in place when the package was delivered to my home. It’s always a bit concerning when the packing is not completely sealed and you’re ordering a food product.

The sausage is always delicious. The packaging this shipment was not very good . I think the carrier let this sit somewhere causing the inner packaging to deteriorate. This left some of the upper layer of sausages in a defrosting stage of which I had to cook right away . Never had this issue in previous orders !!

Like my sweet sausage review, used both in and out of casing. A bit dry in casing, but I can appreciate that lean is better there days, so I can live with this.
Both sweet and hot links came out of casing easily when using as part of a sauce.

Great sausage, that I expected to be shipped frozen from
NYC not Illinois. Packaging was done so 6 of the bottom sausage were completely thawed. All the freeze packs were on top, with the majority of links on the bottom. I will not purchase again unless I can get not previously frozen. Great sausage, but I can go back to Vincents shipped out of NYC not frozen for comparable prices.

The Hot Italian is nice…. Very nice…. Everyone loved it!!! I personally wish it was a bit spicier…. But that’s me…. Maybe make a double hot/spicy? I’ve seen a few people saying it. But if is a really good quality sausage.., lean.. (need to know), and good flavor…. MIL. Wants to know if there is one with fennel?…. I’m planning on buying more.. and so is she….
