I'm sorry but I can't give a review right now I buy sausage ahead of time I buy it to make my sauce in a huge 20 quart sauce pot which I have plans on making in two weeks or so. But that being said you sausage is amazing I live in North Carolina and your company is the only one I buy sausage from and I will always buy it from you for life. I freeze my sauce in the deep freezer in freezer bags. Usually between San marzano tomatoes total cost is usually 250 dollars. I'm Italian I'm originally from New Jersey everything I make is homemade love y'all ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Italian sausage is NOT just for sausage and peppers, or sausage parm sandwiches, or to top your pizza, or to adorn the Sunday Tomato Gravy... Great Italian Sausage is the backbone of any great chicken or turkey stuffing, the magic in myriad "pocket chicken" recipes, and the backbone of a Lasagna.
I've been buying Esposito's sausage for almost forty years, first in person, and now that I'm retired to Florida, online, and there is no better Sweet Sausage or Hot Sausage in the world. This is not to say I don't buy SOME sausage elsewhere. Esposito's doesn't do a heavy fennel sausage like they do on Arthur Ave. in the Bronx, so every once in a while I place an order with another supplier, but Esposito's is my GO-TO place, every three-to-four months, year after year.
Attached is a photo of the sausage portion of our 2026 Easter Lasagna. Without Esposito's, this would be no better than a "slightly-better-than-average" Lasagna (my sauce is good,) but with Esposito's help, we get absolute raves. Same with the Thanksgiving stuffing to go with the turkey, and the Christmas stuffing to go with the goose. Think about ALL THE POSSIBLE USES that a great sausage can fill...

These are the real deal. Since moving to Tennessee I haven't found anything that compares.
Grill them up and eat with sauteed onions on a good seeded Italian twist bread, that I also get fro up north.
Once I start eating them I can't stop.

Your sausage is absolutely delicious—every variety I’ve tried has been full of flavor and a delight to cook, whether on the grill, in the oven, or in a skillet. I placed an order in early April, which included your breakfast sausage, as well as sweet and hot sausages. Although the order was slightly delayed, the real issue was that one of the 5 lb. boxes (the breakfast sausage) had torn open during shipping, and about half of the sausages had spilled throughout the cooler.
I emailed to express my disappointment about the delay and the damaged box. Your team responded promptly and courteously, asking if I had a photo (I didn’t) and offering to replace the breakfast sausage. I truly appreciated the gesture.

The package was teceived still frozen solid, which is excellent. I live in an out of the way place, so that is important.
I have used them both in casing as sausages, and out of casing as a sauce ingredient.
The sausage in casing was a bit too dry, not enough fat. This may be mt personal preference. Flavor was not too sweet, which I like.
Pricing is very fair, so overall will be reordering..

Coming from an Italian and Sicilian background I have to say I love your sausage everything about it was perfect. The only complaint I have was the packing. One of the boxes the hot sausage the cellophane window was loose and unfortunately, I don’t think that is good in regards to sanitary conditions. But other than the cellophane window becoming loose, everything else was good in regards to the delivery. At some point, I’m sure I will re-order.
