I bought the sampler with sweet and spicy sausage. I have not tried the spicy yet but if it's half as good as the sweet it's fantastic! Will buy again!!!!

I'm sorry to say, but these are not Italian sausages. The horrible smell when you put them on the griddle, they are dry and no flavor whatsoever. Did you get guys run out of salt and let's not forget the freezer burn on them just very disappointing. We tried to eat them but it was very hard to chew, very bland and very dry for a pork sausage almost choked trying to eat these. I was looking forward to trying these, being Italian and missing home sometimes. Was hoping these sausages would remind me of home,you guys should be ashamed of charging people this much money for bland dry sausages that are definitely not Italian. What happened to your pride, seriously you guys are ripping people off. Never again, first time trying and never again. Threw the others away, cause no one would eat these. I'll stick to making my own, thank you for reminding me that homemade is always better!!

Delicious- great flavor and seasoning!!

The Items come super frozen and should be separated into 6 pcs each. I am not wanting to defrost and use them all at once. Even the pinwheels are frozen together not able to separate. If you had them individually package it would be so much better. I probably will not order again and would not recommend unless you wanted to make them all at once.

Some problems with an open package. You guys are working on it and I appreciate your consideration to helping with the situation .

The sausage is very high quality. It is well seasoned and definitely brings back memories of NY Sausage.

Not sure if theses supposed to be any dry ice left upon delivery but ot was all melted and product was partially thawed. Cooked several pieces and it tasted funny so I just threw it out. Very disappointed.

Was just delivered yesterday and not yet had a chance to try them. Very pleased, though that they were delivered frozen and well packaged out here to California.

Arrived Freezer burned,not all but alot

The box was semi thawed, I didn’t want to get in a battle of who and what needed to be talked too. Very Disappointed !! I couldn’t refreeze it but I had to cook all of the sausage. Would have liked to plan different use of all of that sausage. Can’t trust you guys to order again.

Sausages arrived frozen which was fine. However, it would have been much easier to store if the sausages were packaged in groups of 4 or 6. Once defrosted and cooked, the sausages lacked the fennel taste Esposito's boasts in their you tube commercials. It seems the sausages may have been frozen too long and lost their flavor. Overall, we were disappointed with the product and wouldn't order anything else from this company.

It appeared to be freezer burnt, plenty of ice covering the meat. The bite was rather tuff, daughter also commented that it was tuff. Flavor was good.

I first thawed the sweet sausage and made a traditional sausage, peppers and onions dish. I found the sausage to be very dry and lack the pop in flavor I expected. I grilled the sausage perhaps frying would produce different results?

5 lbs frozen sold in one big lump, who eats 5 lbs at one time, ya I pried a few out at one time but it would b alot better if it was broke up into more manageable pieces

Hot sausages weren’t wrapped and freezer burned

Well I didn't take any pictures, in fact I'm eating the last of what was cooked as I type. So heres my take on these sausage's, first and foremost the quality is excellent. There are no chunks of fat to bite through, love it. The sweet sausage was the best I've ever had. Before Esposito's I wouldn't even waste my time buying sweet sausage, that has now changed. The hot sausage was the same quality as the sweet but lacked that hot sausage flavor, still good but not great. The Chicken sausage stuffed with Broccoli Rabe & Mozzarella was good maybe a little to much salt, but that might just be me because I don't add salt to anything so sometimes it's real a pronounced seasoning. Overall I'm enjoying these sausage and will be ordering more. Also there's no need for delivery anxiety it comes well packaged completely frozen in a styrofoam cooler. Thank you for giving a quality product.

Excellent is only how I can explain both the sweet and the hot italian sausages! The hot is really not hot but just a little more spicy which we love but again both are fantastic! Shared with our neighbors and friends and the loved them!!

Not enough fennel. Italian sausage has more fennel. You have some but not enough.

I never received the shipment!!! I called your customer service department a week ago and she confirmed that it shipped to the incorrect address. As of today, I'm still waiting for a call back from your customer service department.

They were good,look like been frozen for a while

Would help if rings could be separated with butcher paper to allow for it to be split while still frozen. I separate the order and vac seal sections for multiple meals. Thanks for your consideration and keep on delivering an excellent product

Reminds me of the fresh Italian sausage growing up In Buffalo, really awesome! It was shipped expeditiously and was still frozen when it arrived. Definitely happy with my purchase

Smoked the sweet and hot sausage on Big Green Egg. The quality of the sausage tasted amazing with a little apple wood smoke. Best sausage I ever had. I will order more

It came frozen in two 5lb packages. Not so bad for the links cause you can sort of get some out to defrost, but the rope you can’t. I cannot eat 5lbs of sausage at once . Can’t they put them in one pound packages? The hot is ok but I don’t care for the sweet

These should either come all links, or in 1-2lb size packages. I received a 5 lbs pinwheel of sausage that is frozen solid, so I cannot use it unless I want to cook all 5lbs at once, which is rare. Would be better if smaller sized within the package.

We had a terrific simple meal just making sausage, peppers, and onions. The texture and flavor was outstanding! Everything was seasoned perfectly! A terrific product! Thanks so much!

I ordered the 5 lbs of sweet Italian sausage LINKS .with the 5 lbs of hot Italian sausage LINKS… I received the hot Italian sausage LINKS but you sent me the 5 lb sweet sausage WHEEL…which I have absolutely no use for. I’ll probably never order from you again. and this was my 4th or 5 th time ordering from you. I feel like you stole money from me

Arrived very late, but packed wonderfully, still frozen! Because the party I ordered them for has passed, I haven’t cooked any yet,

I bought a sampler pack for myself. Decided a couple of weeks later to go and visit my sister and her family, so I took the Sweet Italian sausage and the breakfast sausage links with me. Everyone there LOVED the sweet Italian and the breakfast sausages. My sister and BIL were so impressed with Esposito’s Sausage that I ordered another sampler pack and sent it to them as a Thank You gift. Will be ordering more for sure. Thank you.

Sausages aren’t very tasty. I ordered them before and they were very good, both of these didn’t taste very good

Took slightly longer to ship but was expected, due to a holiday in the middle of the week after purchase. Package was still frozen upon arrival, which was my biggest concern. Excellent quality and no grease while cooking!! Overall, no complaints…love it!!!

Package arrived slightly defrosted. The packaging was soggy and makes me nervous regarding the refreezing process. The fact that the way the product is packaged does not allow for defrosting portions with out the whole roll of sausage being used. I had to cut off the softer part to eat some right away. Found the grind quite corse and the bite kind of tough

Ordered the sweet and hot sampler for a Fourth of July party. It was delicious and everyone enjoyed it, many comments on how good the flavor is. I’ll definitely be ordering more for the summer bbq’s.

Your packaging and shipping folks did a great job. The contents arrived fully frozen thanks to your care and attention. The sausages themselves are super tasty. They will disappear fast. Planning to make some Sunday gravy this weekend and I am sure the sausages will be in demand around the table. You can expect another order soon.

They were pretty good, but being so frozen I did notice some freezer burn taste from some of the sausage. The other parts had good flavor. Happy, but a little disappointed that freezer burn sections didn't taste as good. Expensive investment for that. But the parts that were fresh, do tasted good.

Smoked the Hot Italian Sausage Rope over the Forth Weekend. It was the hit of the party. Love the fennel

I thought it was individual not frozen rope I did not want to cook the whole thing at once. Had to unthaw the whole rope to cut it in individual portions then refroze again for a later date, not sure if that was a good idea, my only complaint.

Would like to see the layers of sausage separated with some paper so that you could take them apart more easily. One frozen

Great authentic Italian sausage. Both hot and sweet are equally tasty. Really appreciate being able to enjoy this perfect treat that reminds me of my childhood. It always shipped carefully and arrives safely frozen.

Look giving your sausage a 4 is not right because the sausage itself was absolutely delicious and wonderful. My complaint is you offered links in promo and I got rings. For older folks buying a ring is very difficult to break down when frozen. John F

Well, I love the sausage, but on my last order, I specified links. I received rope sausage. I had to cut it up myself into links and then freeze it.
