Loved the quality with just the right amount of fennel and right amount of “heat”!

I can’t wait to try them but the whole box is frozen so I have to defrost five pounds of sausage to enjoy a few pieces. I wish you could pack them so I can take a few pieces out at a time.

Box came with sausage on time and intact. Sausage frozen, was able to break sausage down after allowing them to defrost just a bit. Vacuum sealed most of them but, had to keep some out to try. I brought the sausage to cook this spring at a friends 75th birthday. I’m originally from NJ, got stationed in ND in 71. Missed the true Italian flavor. You did not disappoint. Will be sure to order again at some future point.

My niece that I sent to in South Carolina loved it and shared with her family from Florida and they all enjoyed on a Sunday dinner !!

The only complaint I have is that the meat was completely frozen, other then that it was delicious

I used nothing but Esposito’s sausage when I had my restaurants in the NYC area. I’m so happy I can still enjoy them here in Texas.

I have been buying these quality sausages for years now. Awesome as i am fron the east coast and came to CA 45 years ago and can not find the quality of these Italian sausages here! Always shipped fast and always frozen which are some time a little difficult to seperate and put into my vacuum sealer but the quality makes up for that

Everyone in the family loves the sausage from Espositos and comes out to the table for breakfast. Pipi and Herbie love eggs, sausage, and biscuits. So does the rest of the family.

My sausage order came in very fast and good with the dry ice and well packaged. The quality is fantastic as I remember it was when I was stationed in NY on Governors Island in the Coast Guard and we went uptown for Espositos quality eats. Still the best you can buy. $10 a pound for Sausage meat. Way too expensive

I had been to eat at Espositos family store while stationed in New York in 1970 and 1974 again and it was alwayd delicious. Now this year I saw an advertisement for some provisions and bought two sample packs of Hot sausage and sweet Italian sausage and they are fabulous to eat again. Tried the Hot-n-Spicy first in a tomato sauce over Rigatoni. Cut into bite-sized pieces, it was amazing! Not as impressed with the "Sweet" Italian sausage. Fried it up with Green Pepper & Onions and served it on an Italian roll. It was much less sweet than it was SALTY (too much so for my liking), and it gave the squirts for two days! Believe it or not, that doesn't disqualify it from future attempts. Prolly try it down the road in a red sauce like the other one. Not done judging yet. Let's see what happens...

I got a box of sweet and hot Italian sausage…. OUTSTANDING. Been looking for years for a really good sweet one with no luck until now. Hot sausage is just the perfect amount of spice, in fact having it for dinner tonight.

First time

Sweet sausage was in links, hot was in 2ropes. Both frozen solid. Not needing to use at once I wanted to separate then and keep the rest frozen. Hard to separate the links, but impossible to separate ropes without a complete thaw, which I did not want. Links I cooked were

OK you have been asking for my review for now two weeks We tried the sweet a few weeks back and then the hot this evening. Here is in-depth review. First off being from Long Island, I’m very familiar with New York sausages, and yours are among the best that I’ve tasted. They are juicy tender, perfectly spiced not too fatty and have the perfect texture. Love the sweet, but definitely love the hot. For sure we will be ordering this again As far as delivery goes, it was speedy on time no problems items showed up, frozen packaged incredibly well very pleased. The one problem we did have we thought that the hot sausage was going to come in links instead instead, it came in a rope. We brought this to your attention, and you were most gracious and took care of our problem. Thank you. Those are our reviews. Definitely give you a thumbs up on taste and customer service. That is the pros for our review. Now for the cons. The suggestion that we would make is the packaging we had no problem with them coming frozen, but the way that they are packed in the box the links all stick to the paper And can be quite a ordeal to separate them if you don’t want to defrost the whole box. The rope sausage has the same problem but it’s like there’s one big blob of 5 pounds of hot Italian sausage that you have to defrost in order to use. If you’re making the whole rope and have time to defrost it overnight, there’s no problem.. My suggestion would be somehow when you put the bottom and top layers of the links in the box. There be some sort of a cardboard or packing to separate the layers so that everything is not frozen in one solid block. Other than that, we were quite pleased with your company, customer service and packaging. We just feel that once you open the package up, there must be a better way to keep everything from freezing into one big block.. Enclosing, we would definitely be ordering from you in the future. You wanted a review and we gave you one, and thanks again for the wonderful sausages. living in Virginia. I miss the taste of New York sausage you just can’t get it down here. Best I've ever had in Italian sausage......

The mild was good, but kind of run of the mill. The hot was outstanding, haven't had sausage that good since I left Chicago 40 years ago.

I am from Morgan and ordered my first order from Esposito’s and let me tell you it was way more delicious than I thought. The hot gives you a great taste without burning you out, and the suite was outstanding. I will be ordering more. Thank you for having such a great program to ship sausage all the way to the west.

The sausage is good. The issue is the package was not only frozen but iced over so can't separate the 5lbs into smaller portions when you cook it.

My family and I are native New Yorkers. During the 1980s we started shopping at Esposito's. It became a ritual. First we would shop at Esposito 's then go across the street to both the International market and Fish store. We were there so often Mr. Esposito gave us a tour of their spotless.sausage making facility. If you're worried about what goes into their sausage be assured they are immaculately prepared. I now live in Texas and am delighted that I can purchase their sausage online. If you are able to visit their store. Everything is fabulous.
