I was very dissapointed when opening the box seeing the dry ice all over the box. Apparently the ice wasn't secured in the bags. The sausage was frozen solid, ice formed though all three rings. Had to discard the whole box.

Very hard to separate. Comes frozen because I love cross country.

I recently moved to Florida and I was missing my NY sausage from Esposito's. So I went online and ordered my fav, the chicken sausage ring. I was afraid it might spoil during shipping especially in Florida heat, but I was pleasantly surprised how well it was packed. It came boxed and inside a styrofoam cooler with ice packs which kept the sausage cold. Thank you Esposito's! Hint, hint...Naples could use a real Italian distributer!

I have never tasted a better version of chicken apple sausage. I practically feed this to my children every saturday morning. It is so yummy and my children eat it up. I serve it with some whole wheat pancakes and it gets our weekend started off great.

These came as promised 2 days after I ordered. The sausage was still cold in the box it shipped in. I also found a recipe on Martha Stewart for Chicken-Apple Sausage and Pasta Soup - very enjoyable as well. I would give it my recommendation.
